CHIRK AAA endured a weekend to forget with a 1-0 defeat at home to Bangor 1876 leaving the Colliers adrift at the foot of the JD Cymru North table.

A solitary strike from league top scorer Corig McGoningle was enough for the Citizens with Chirk now four points adrift at the foot of the division after fellow strugglers Llanidloes Town won their basement battle at Porthmadog.
