Towns around the north Shropshire border are facing water issues this morning, the area's supplier has confirmed.
Severn Trent Water revealed that there are issues with one of its boosters, which helps pump the water around their network, today, Wednesday, January 24.
This is set to affect LL13 and LL14 postcodes which include Chirk, Pont-y-blew, Penley, Overton, and Bangor-on-Dee.
A spokesperson from the company said: “We’ve been made aware that there is an issue with one of our boosters which help pump water around our network of pipes so you may be experiencing some interruptions with your water supply.
“We’re sorry if you’re affected by this, as we know what the issue is we already have engineers on site working quickly to reset the pumps which should restore your supplies.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and as soon as we know more, we will update this page.”
