PUPILS at a village primary school near Oswestry have been tasting the future and what careers they may want when they grow up.

Weston Rhyn Primary School, in Station Road, had a week-long celebration, learning about the world of work and some of the many career opportunities they may be presented with when they leave school.

The children spent time with visitors who shared their work-life experiences, in the second year that the school hosted the event including Daniel Salisbury-Jones, a broadcast journalist who grew up in the village.
