A MAJOR bridge in Mid Wales is still closed after heavy rains and flooding over the Christmas period, while other roads remain affected.
Dyfi Bridge is closed in both directions on the A487 in Machynlleth because of flooding between A493 and Ffordd Mynydd Griffiths.
The bridge was closed on December 23 and is yet to reopen because of concerns over water levels.
Meanwhile, the A490 in both directions was also closed because of flooding, from Cilcewydd (Fron) to the A458 at the Sarn Bryn Caled roundabout in Coed-Y-Dinas.
According to traffic monitor Inrix, the road was closed at around 6am on Boxing Day.
However, social media users are sharing information in community groups and say that a number of north Powys roads have been clear.
