AN ACCIDENT on the A483 has blocked the road both ways causing traffic build-up in the area.
West Mercia Police have been called to the scene at around 2.20pm, where they discovered a three-vehicle collision.
A spokesperson said: "We received reports of a collision involving three vehicles on the A483 near to the Llynclys crossroads at around 2.20pm today.
"No arrests were made, and the area was made safe.”
According to the traffic website, Inrix the accident took place near Fourways/White Lion crossroads in Llynclys.
Reports said:” The A483 both ways is partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident near A495 (Fourways / White Lion crossroads).”
Google Maps is also showing traffic in the area – the biggest queue being in the direction of the Sweeney Hall Hotel.
