OSWESTRIANS with a love of Christmas trees can head to a town centre venue across this Christmas weekend launch.
Starting on Friday (today) at midday, there is a whole lot of Christmas Tree dressing going on as 19 local charities have created a themed Christmas Tree which will all be on display at Christ Church in Arthur Street (opposite the Library).
It will be open midday to 2pm from December 1-3 and there will be refreshments available.

The Festival will be opened by Deputy Lieutenant Veronica Lillis at midday on Friday and is being organised by Angie Mills, of Crafty Knitters.
The event lasts three days and is an ideal place to visit during this festive weekend.
Angie had seen a similar festival organised in the town where she lived last and when she saw that there was not one in Oswestry, she set about organising the event.
Michelle Parry, from Oswestry Community First Responders, said: "Angie contacted me and asked if we would take part in the event, I said it would be a pleasure.
“I was also keen to help promote the event as there are lots of other charities there looking to raise much needed funds, it is a wonderful event to be a part of.”
Deputy Lieutenant Veronica Lillis opens the event on Friday.

She added: “It gives me great pleasure in supporting this festival of Charity Christmas Trees on behalf of The Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire.
“Bringing all these organisations together is wonderful and it is amazing to see the creativity involved.
“Every tree is different and certainly reflects the organisation behind it.”
