HUNDREDS of people braved the heavy rains in Oswestry to pay their respect to the town’s war dead on Remembrance Sunday.

Dignitaries including town mayor Councillor Olly Rose, North Shropshire MP Helen Morgan and Shropshire deputy Lord Lieutenant Veronica Lillis, among others, attended the memorial gates at Cae Glas Park for a ceremony on Sunday, November 12.
