THE football pitch can be a lonely place for goalkeepers.

As was the case for East Fife goalkeeper Allan Fleming during his side's Scottish Trophy fourth round clash at TNS on Saturday - but the veteran was determined to make the most of a gap in the action.

Thankfully the custodian had the company of the travelling East Fife supporters who were in sufficiently good voice to prompt Fleming into showing his appreciation with a series of dance moves.

The 39 year old strutted his stuff to entertain the fans while the action was taking place at the other end of the pitch.

But Fleming probably wasn't quite so happy to strut his stuff at full time, as the Scottish side heading back on their six-hour journey home without so much as a place in the next round for comfort.

The tie ended 2-2 before the Saints prevailed 5-4 on penalties to book their place in the quarter-finals.
