A GROUP has issued a call for more volunteers to help continue its work supporting a local hospital.

The Chirk Hospital's Circle of Friends plays a key role in the day-to-day running of the site through fundraising, supporting patients and their families and friends, as well as maintaining the gardens.

They are hoping new green-fingered volunteers can lend their support - and their call has received the backing of Clwyd South MS Ken Skates.
