POLICE say they are dealing with an "incident" at Chirk Aqueduct this morning (Monday, August 7).
A North Wales Police spokesperson has confirmed officers have been called to an "incident" at the location this morning and expect them to be there "for some time".
They were unable to provide any further information on the nature of the incident at this time.
Witnesses have taken to social media to state that there are several police officers present at the aqueduct, as well as paramedics.
We will bring you further information if and when we have it.
