POLICE in north Shropshire say they have seized a vehicle that was involved in an incident in Ellesmere.
A white van was stopped by officers on shift in Oswestry after it was found to be without tax or insurance.
Officers from Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) tweeted to say that the vehicle had been taken into custody.

They said: “The vehicle is suspected to have been involved in a non-stop road traffic collision in Ellesmere.
“The vehicle had no tax or insurance.”
The collision is believed to have involved a pedestrian – anyone with information is urged to call 101or the anonymous Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.
