CHIRK Castle is set to embark on an exciting summer adventure as it looks to make its very own fortress - made entirely from straw.

The National Trust property has already seen the delivery of more than 240 large straw bales, which will be ingeniously transformed into a colossal 70m x 70m low-level adventure straw castle.

Visitors of all ages can anticipate an immersive experience as they climb, explore, and engage their senses within this captivating structure.

The castle promises to ignite the imagination and provide endless opportunities for fun and adventure.

A spokesperson for Chirk Castle said: “Within the straw fortress lies four unique play zones where you can discover different ways to play, be active, engage your senses and have fun.
