TO KICK off the summer season, a garden centre near Chirk is thrilled to announce a series of workshops.
Dobbies designed the Little Seedlings Club and Holiday Club workshops to inspire children and teach them about nature, they are set to captivate young minds and keep them busy during the school holidays.
The Little Seedlings Club workshop, taking place at Moreton Garden Centre on Sunday, July 2, is a fun-filled and educational session for children aged four to 10.
Dobbies’ community and CSR communications executive, Chloë Bell said: “We are excited to be hosting two fantastic sessions for kids in our Moreton Park store this summer.

“Not only are these sessions a great way to keep children entertained and busy during the holidays, but it’s a great chance for them to meet friends and try something new.
“If you haven’t already checked out our free sessions, please do come along this July and get involved.”
With a focus on garden care during warmer temperatures, the workshop will emphasise effective water conservation.
Children will delve into the captivating world of the water cycle in plants and discover why plants need assistance to stay green and vibrant, especially in the hotter months.

The Holiday Club, starting in early July, will also delve into the realm of herbs and microgreens that make fantastic pizza toppings.
Children attending this workshop will learn about the diverse flavors and nutritional benefits herbs can add to a pizza. Additionally, they will discover how to easily grow herbs and microgreens at home.
To secure a spot at the Little Seedlings Club workshop and Pizza Planting Holiday Club in July, advance booking is required.
The Holiday Club will continue throughout the school holidays, and customers are advised to visit the Dobbies website to check availability and make reservations, as each store may have different schedules.
