A 115-YEAR-OLD Methodist church in Chirk Bank is to be sold at auction, with a £50,000 starting price.

Chirk Bank Church is on the market, and sellers say it has a great potential to become something new, subject to planning permission.

The building includes a lot of the original features with a large meeting room, vestry, kitchen, and great garden with amazing views of the countryside.

The public auction starts with a minimum bid of £50,000 and a maximum base bid of £75,000.

OTHER NEWS:

The church originally dates back to 1908, and it still has the original frosted glass windows with leaded lights, a vaulted ceiling and a timber pulpit.

All improvements are subject to Planning Permission, but with a good head height in the main area, which could make for a possible second floor.
