A SUPPORT group for people with stomas has been praised for its work after it celebrated another year of helping people.

Around 34 members of Shropshire Bums on Tums (BOTs) enjoyed afternoon tea in The Orangery at Derwen College on the occasion of their 12th birthday on Thursday, June 8.

Also helping them celebrate was Shropshire councillor Joyce Barrow, who is a supporter of the group.

She was joined by Tom Russell, a Stoma care nurse from the Maelor Hospital in Wrexham; Paula Hilditch, also a Stoma care nurse from Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Beth-Ann Porritt, cancer care co-ordinator from Cambrian Medical Centre in Oswestry.
