ONE of the biggest dance acts of the early 2000s will be helping the further re-launch one of the best-known nightclubs in Oswestry on Friday.

Ultrabeat, renowned for their hit Pretty Green Eyes, will be at Frankie’s Nightclub – formerly Gibson’s – on Friday to help kickstart its new life.

Mike Edwards, who owns Frankie’s, says he hopes to provide something for everyone, from their music tastes to live sports coverage, and says it will kick-off in style on Friday.

“On Friday, we have Ultrabeat performing,” he said.

“They had a massive hit in the 2000s with Pretty Green Eyes and they also had huge hits with Feeling Fine and Disco Lights – doors open at 10pm.

“Our aim is to bring more major acts to Frankie’s over the coming months.
