A CALL-OUT has been made for new businesses and groups in Oswestry to join in and bring some beautiful blooms to town.

The Oswestry In Bloom group has launched a new website to go with its highly-popular social media channels and is hoping the town will support its latest efforts, including being chosen to represent the Heart of England In Bloom nationally for 2023.

This prestigious effort is reward for winning gold yet again in 2022.

A spokesperson for Oswestry in Bloom says work has already begun in putting together the town’s floral displays ready for the committee and they are looking forward to seeing the end results.

They said: “We aim to inspire the community to make Oswestry a beautiful place to live, with our philosophy of “Growing Together”.

“We work hard to bring residents, businesses and community groups together to bring this about.

“This was seen as one of our key strengths in winning gold in the Heart of England In Bloom competition in 2022.
