IT'S been a lovely long bank holiday weekend and our intrepid Camera Club members have been out and about doing what they do best - snapping our beautiful part of the country to share with you, our readers.

This week there was definitely a mix of sunshine and showers, but there's still a great mix of photographs to share with you this week.

Starting things off we have Neil Henderson, who took a trip to Lake Vyrnwy and took this great shot of the dam.

Next up is Paul Robert Garrett who popped along to the Cambrian Heritage Railway in Oswestry to get some snaps of their new steamie for the 2023 season, while staying in Oswestry, Les Maguire shared this great snap of a rainbow over the east of the town.

Mary Morgan appears twice this week, firstly with a snap of some kayakers taking on The Horseshow Falls in Llangollen, and then on the Montgomery Canal with a swan sitting on her eggs.

Next up is this fine picture from John Barrett which shows exactly why you should head to Chirk Castle to see the bluebells, while Rob Evans shared this moody view of the silvery moon above Nesscliffe, and Michael Anthony Adams-Wade caught this sparrow hiding in the cherry blossom.

Neil Evans took a trip to Erddig with the camera group, while Marian Morris shared this view of the Gyrn, and there were more bluebells from Clare Humphreys in Plas Power Woods.

High Pixel Photography got this great aerial shot of the grandstand at Old Oswestry Racecourse, Joe Heard took this lovely photograph of her dog, and finally, we have this beautiful picture of owl chicks taken by Paul Meakin.
