A FILM dramatization of the downfall of one of Hollywood’s biggest names because of his sexual abuse is coming to Oswestry Film Society.

The film society will be showing Carey Mulligan-led ‘She Said’, a film charting the stories of the women who came forward to New York Times reporters over the abuses of Harvey Weinstein, who is now in prison.

The film will tell their stories and also how it led to the launch of the #MeToo movement, encouraging to speak up about abuse of power by men.

A spokesman for the society said: “A reminder that it's that time again as ‘She Said’ features as the latest offering from the society this coming Tuesday, April 18 from 7.30pm at the Kinokulture cinema in Arthur Street.
