CHIRK AAA’s JD Cymru North relegation fears deepened with a 2-0 defeat at title chasing Holywell Town on Wednesday night.
Two goals from Dave Forbes ensured the points for the Wellmen while the Colliers remain in the relegation dogfight.
Llanrhaeadr proved no match for Bow Street and slumped to a 4-0 defeat in the Ardal North East League on Saturday.
Rhydian Davies opened the scoring with a 15th minute penalty with the Magpies all but sealing the spoils by the break with Ifan Burrell and Dafydd Carruthers on target while the hosts were reduced to 10 men with the dismissal of Dan Kelly.
Carruthers completed the scoring after the break.
