AFTER the success of a cooking masterclass teaching people how to make Chicken Kyiv, a group supporting Ukrainian refugees has set up another event.

This time, participants will be learning as much as they can about coffee from one of the world’s top coffee entrepreneurs, from Ukraine, Vadym Granovskiy, in the event at Oswestry School, in Upper Brook Street, on Friday, March 24.

The coffee masterclass will include Vadym’s own and unique Flat Red brand and will learn about how coffee has changed society.

A spokesman for the event said: “Vadym Granovskiy is a quality-focused coffee entrepreneur born in Ukraine.

“He is the winner of the United Kingdom Cezve/Ibrik Championship (2014) and World Cezve/Ibrik Championship finalist, passionate and eloquent coffee lecturer and TEDx speaker.

OTHER NEWS:

“He established The Coffee in Action volunteer project, solely focused on supporting Ukrainian soldiers.

“Vadym's mission is to bring good quality coffee to the armed forces of Ukraine.

“Money from the event will be contributed to his project.”
