WINDOWS of four cars and a property, with a three-year-old child in it, were smashed in the early hours of Sunday morning in a targeted attack, police say. 

Four cars were attacked by vandals as well as the window at a dwelling in the Hammonds Place area of Gobowen at around 2am, according to officers from West Mercia Police. 

The attack happened on Sunday, January 29, with front and rear windscreens smashed. 

Police officers are now appealing for information regarding the attackers. 

A spokesman said: "Criminal damage was reported to us at 2:01am on Sunday.

"Four vehicles have been damaged in the Hammonds Place area of Gobowen, also a property's window has been smashed.

"There was a three-year-old child in the property at the time. This was a targeted incident."
