AN INTERNET and stand-up comedy sensation is coming to a venue near Oswestry next month.

Josh Pugh, who as well as his stand-up shows shot to fame over the last two years with hilariously funny videos on social media, and has since appeared on BBC2's Mock the Week.

Pugh – English Comedian of the Year – created characters such as 'Legit Business Guy' whose dealings become shadier as the video goes on, or the over-zealous dad around the house.

He has also written jokes for several shows, including 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Newsjack and The Now Show.

The comedy star will be coming to Llanyblodwel and Porthywaen Memorial Institute on Friday, February 10 as part of Kung-Fu Comedy's line-up.

He will be supported by Freddie Farrell and Donald Mackerel, with more to be announced.

Tickets are £10 and doors open at 7pm, with the show – which will feature adult material – starting at 8pm.
