AN INQUEST into the death of a Ruyton-XI-Towns man who was found after a missing person’s search will be held next year.

Sean Pyne, 63, died on Monday, December 12 in a garage in Grove Court, Ruyton-XI Town after his wife reported him missing to police.

John Ellery, Shropshire coroner, opened his inquest at Shirehall in Shrewsbury on Tuesday, December 20.

He heard that Mr Pyne left his house on foot without wearing appropriate clothing for the sub-freezing temperatures and did not leave a message.

He was identified by a local police officer who knew him, and the full inquest into his death will be heard on March 14, 2023 at Shirehall.
