Llanrhaeadr celebrated a welcome 4-1 win at home to 10 man Corwen to climb off the foot of the table.

All the goals came in the second-half after Gruff Evans fired the visitors into a 55th minute lead.

Joe Vaughan levelled moments later before Ryan Broadbent fired the hosts into the lead on the hour.

Vaughan added his second with just three minutes remaining before Corwen were reduced to 10 men with the dismissal of James Davies.

William Roberts-Morris added a fourth deep into stoppage time as Llanrhaeadr celebrated three points.

Llansantffraid came out on top following a mammoth battle at home to Llanilar with the Saints prevailing on penalties after a 4-4 draw in the third round of the MMP Central Wales League Cup on Saturday.

The Swallows led early with Ioan Jones on target only for the hosts to storm back with goals from Kieran Evans, Khyam Wyton and Chris Aitken before the break.

Ryan Hopkins reduced the arrears on the hour before Jamie Stuart snatched a late leveller.

Dan Weaver saw red for the hosts before Morgan Roberts-Young fired the Swallows ahead in extra-time with the Saints further punished with Wyton being dismissed.

However Iain Edmunds struck a last gasp leveller to send the game to penalties with the Saints prevailing 4-3.

Tregaron Turfs sealed their own progress with Ryan Davies, Joshua Taylor and Dylan Davies goals sealing a 3-0 win at home to Four Crosses who saw Ben Simms dismissed.

Geraint Jones inspired Carno to their biggest win of the season with two goals in a 5-0 victory at Llanfyllin Town with Ioan Humphreys, Sean Wild and Sam Barker goals completing the scoring for the Greens.
