CHRISTMAS is ready to be launched by a popular tourist attraction outside Oswestry with Santa and his Elves ready for fun.

The Park Hall Countryside Experience in Oswestry has plenty of Christmas fun lined up for December with Santa and his elves coming to town.

The farm attraction team is expecting to delight family audiences with ‘Elf Academy’ – a live pantomime-style show with lots of audience interaction, and every child will have the chance to meet Father Christmas.

The performers will encourage youngsters to dance and sing along as they learn to become one of Santa’s elves and take home a special gift.

Richard Powell, joint owner/director at Park Hall, said staff were 'really looking forward' to another festive period at Park Hall farm, and were excited to be hosting the Elf Academy.

He said: "We’ll also have some Christmas characters to meet as you explore the farm, as well as meeting Father Christmas in our grotto, where each child can receive a Christmas present to take home."

The Santa Experience at Park Hall will be on every weekend in December 3-11 and every day from December 17-24.

"The show will be performed on the hour every day that we’re open during Christmas and promises to delight our younger customers" Richard added.

Tickets have already sold out for some of the sessions, so the team recommends booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

All of the usual farm activities will be included in the ticket price, including access to the indoor and outdoor play areas, tractor rides, role play village, meeting the animals, and watching the pig racing.
