WELCOME to camera club as we showcase some of the glory of the beautiful place we call home.

We are now in November and we can expect the days to draw in sooner and the nights to be longer.

For some it is their favourite time of the year while others will no doubt be pining for the return of summer.

Some say that autumn carries more gold in its pocket than all the other seasons and certainly we can see for ourselves every scene is different from just a few weeks ago.

It’s the nature of the world. One thing remains, and one gone.

OTHER NEWS:

Some will find it a hard to motivate themselves in the months ahead. Certainly it is easy, even understandable, to draw your curtains on the dark nights that loom large on the horizon.

Yet it is also important to embrace the time of year for it is one full of community events which we have all missed so much over the past few years.

These events could be community panto or perhaps pub night or fireworks display.

During the pandemic we pined for the return of many of these special events.

These events are now back in the social calendar and it is up to all of us to ensure we support them now as we have never done before.

So while the nights draw long this need not be a dark time of year.

Open your lives and hearts to your neighbours and community and get involved today.
