A CASTLE near Oswestry will be hosting a re-enactment this weekend.
Whittington Castle will be hosting a multi-period living history re-enactment on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23.
Attendees will be able to able to see people dressed from different periods including the medieval and Victorian period.
A spokesperson for the event said: "Take a walk through history as re-enactment groups from different time periods set up camp at Whittington Castle.

"Meet Victorians alongside Medieval Knights, watch different groups in combat, visit a Napoleonic hospital and shop from a travelling rag merchant.
"kitchen@thecastle will be baking from recipe books hundreds of years old alongside the regular tempting offer of treats."
