A patient was escorted to hospital after an "incident" in Llanfyllin.

Crews from both the Welsh Ambulance service and the Wales Air ambulance were called out to Bridge Street on Monday (September 26) after an incident at one of the properties.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said “We were called today (26 September) at 09:35am, to reports of an incident at a property on Bridge Street, Llanfyllin.

"We sent one emergency ambulance to the scene, where we were supported by the Wales Air Ambulance.

"One person was taken by road to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further treatment.”

A spokesperson for the Wales Air Ambulance said they escorted the patient as they left by road ambulance: "We can confirm that the Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in the Llanfyllin area today (26/09/22).

"Following treatment from our on-board medics, we escorted a patient to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in a road ambulance. Our involvement concluded at 13:28."
