TNS have bolstered their JD Cymru Premier title chasing squad with two new signings.

Midfielder Dan Williams joins on loan from English Championship side Swansea City until January while winger Adam Wilson arrives on a free transfer from English Premier League side Newcastle United.

21-year-old Williams has previously been farmed out to SSE Airtricity League Premier Division side Dundal, and went on to represent the Lilywhites nine times during his stay at Oriel Park.

Williams has represented Wales U21s on eight occasions, finding the back of the net during a 7-0 away win against Gibraltar in December 2021.

Head coach Craig Harrison said: “I’m very pleased we have strengthened an already good group of players, as I think competition for places keeps everyone at the top of their game, and and pushes standards on and off the pitch.

“Dan has been at Swansea for a long time and has been in and around the first team for the last two to three years. His arrival brings more quality options in the midfield area and keeps competition very high.

“He has a very good range of passing, is very comfortable in possession and can also score goals from outside the box. He’s a very good footballer and will fit in with the style of football that we want to play.”

“Adam is a very exciting young player who has spent a long time at a Premier League football club, training and playing with some real quality players, coaches and managers.

“A left-footed player, he will bring balance and more attacking options, which will compliment and bring more competition to our attacking end of the pitch.

“Adam is a very exciting out-and-out winger, who wants to take players on, and also has a great eye for a goal.”
