SOMETIMES everyone just needs to gorge on a burger.

To mark National Burger Day which fell this week, we share the top rated burger establishments in Oswestry and north Shropshire.

The modern version of the burger that we eat today was created around the late 19th century.

In 1885, the Menches brothers used beef in their sandwiches at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, New York.

However, some also believe that the burger was originally invented in Germany at a place called Hamburger. It can be made in a variety of ways and served with different toppings depending on one's taste.

So without further ado, we share the top ranked burger serving establishments in the region according to Google and Trip Advisor reviews.
