THE Bailey Head in Oswestry is set to host two special events at the end of this month.
Henston Distillery, Oswestry's own award winning distillery will bring tasters of their gins, whiskies, vodkas to the pub after being awarded a Gold medal in the Global World Whisky Masters,
The evening will start at 7pm, on Wednesday August 31.
The next day, on September 1, doors will open at 3pm for the Manchester-based Cloudwater Brewery that was named the second best brewery in the World in the Ratebeer awards.
The following day Cloudwater are launching a new range of three permanent cask beers, but The Bailey Head will have them a day early, alongside 10 other Cloudwater draught beers, a total of 13 beers in the Cloudwater Tap Takeover.

Grace Goodlad from The Bailey Head said: "It is a great honour to have two of the finest drinks makers in the country holding events here.
"We are delighted to have Henstone coming along, and we always stock all of the Henstone range."
She added: "Having Cloudwater agree to a Tap Takeover with Thirteen beers ranging through Pale Ales, IPAs, Mild, Stout, Wheat Beer and a Sour Beer is the biggest Tap Takeover by a brewery we have ever hosted. "
