Construction has begun on the new 3G pitches in Llanfyllin.
Llanfyllin Town Council confirmed the start date for construction of the pitch last month and this week workers arrived on the site to begin installing the pitch.
The new 3G pitch will be installed at Llanfyllin Sports Centre, replacing the outdated sports pitch.

Pave Aways Ltd have been appointed the contractor to install the pitch, as well as an improved floodlighting scheme which is also being built in addition to the new pitch.
The project is part of a programme to improve facilities across the county, providing positive benefit to the health and wellbeing of Powys communities.
