TWO drivers were arrested for drug driving in the space of three hours as officers carried out checks in Llanymynech last night (Monday, August 15).
Officers from North Powys Patrols are awaiting blood test results for the two drivers, according to Powys Roads Policing Unit on Twitter.
The force revealed that the two drivers had both been arrested in the space of a matter of hours on suspicion of drug driving, as officers carried out proactive patrols.

Alongside the tweet where officers revealed the arrests, Powys Roads Policing are also trying to spread more awareness on the Fatal Five.
'Fatal Five' are the most known causes of the collisions where the fatalities could have been prevented.
The 'Fatal Five' are: careless driving, drink and drug driving, not wearing a seatbelt, using a mobile phone and speeding.
