A MOTORIST from Gobowen was clocked travelling at almost 100mph on a motorway, a court has been told.
Last month, Barry Michael Minns admitted that he drove a vehicle at 97mph on the M5 between Junctions 26 and 27 in Somerset, on December 17, 2021, after he was captured by an automatic camera device.
The speed limit on that section of road was 70mph.

The 44-year-old, of St Martins Road, was sentenced at Bath Magistrates' Court on June 29.
He received six penalty points and was fined £341. Magistrates said they took his guilty plea into consideration when imposing the sentence.
Minns must also pay £90 court costs and a victim surcharge of £34, making a total of £465.
