A YOUNG boy has said thank you to two Oswestry police officers by presenting them with a picture.

The youngster was in a car with his family when it suffered a flat tyre on the A5 on Sunday, July 3.

PC Williams and PCSO Carroll from Oswestry Police went to their assistance and helped to replace the tyre and send the family on their way.

But before they did, they were presented with a picture from the boy, who had worked on it while his family waited, to thank them for their kind gesture.

The picture reads: 'Keeping getting bag guys'.

A post via the OsCops Twitter feed said: "PC Williams and PCSO Carroll went to the assistance of a family with with flat tyre on the A5.

"With the assistance of off duty SC Dell the flat was replaced and they went safely on their way.

"We were presented with this from the young lad who drew it for us as he waited."
