A temporary road closure will be in place in Welshpool later this month.
Powys County Council has given notice that a traffic order will be in place on the U4410 on Red Bank during July 6 and July 7.
The traffic order will temporarily prohibit any vehicles from using the road from 8am to 5pm.
The closure is on behalf of MJ Quinn and Openreach, to accommodate works being carried out to install a new 10m light telecoms pole in the footway.
Residents access will be maintained, as will access for emergency vehicles.
Alternative routes will be signposted.
