A DRIVER has been arrested in connection with drugs offences after police carried out a stop and search operation in Oswestry which turned up a large amount of cash and different drugs.
The driver was stopped in the early hours of the morning by officers from Oswestry Central Safer Neighbourhood teams after police were alerted to antisocial behaviour.
In a message posted online, West Mercia Police said the Oswestry Central SNT had seized class A and class B drugs and cash.
The post added: "Driver was stopped in the early hours of this morning following anti-social vehicle use and a successful stop search was carried out, revealing a large quantity of cash as well as Class A and B drugs.
"The driver was also dealt with for no insurance."
