A MAN accused of a number of sexual offences, including several dozen Category A, B and C images of children, will face Shrewsbury Crown Court next month.

Simon Harris, 35, formerly of West Felton, near Oswestry, but now of Aquaduct Terrace in Llangollen, appeared at Telford Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

He will be expected to enter a plea at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Tuesday, July 12 for four counts.

He is accused of three counts of making indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child between December 17, 2012 and December 21, 2017 at a property in West Felton.

According to the charges, Harris had 63 still and 84 moving Category A images “of a child; he had 201 still and 34 moving Category B images of a child plus 76 still images and four moving images at Category C level.

Harris is also facing a further charge that during the same time period, he possessed extreme pornographic images portraying an act of sex with an animal.

According to the charges, there were allegedly 105 still and 32 moving ‘extreme pornographic’ images which were considered grossly offensive or disgusting.
