It is the second time the team has been over the area this week, after a flyover on the way to the Isle of Man TT on Tuesday.

The RAF Cosford Air Show was set to take place last year but was postponed because of Covid-19 restrictions.

A socially-distanced event was meant to take place in September 2021 but was cancelled in favour of a special show in 2022.

This year's air show marks all the great achievements of the RAF since the Queen's coronation 70 years ago.

Included in the order of events, which promises to provide spectators an 'amazing' time are the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team opening the show, followed by the famous aircrafts, such as the Red Arrows, flypasts such as the Airbus A400M FLYPASTS, and other static displays, such as the Richard Goodwin's Pitts G-EWIZ.

Although the show was sold out, all ticket holders from the cancelled 2020 RAF Cosford Air Show, who did not request a refund, will be carried over to this year's display.
