THE Oswestry Food and Drink Festival will be held next month.

The event will be held on Saturday and Sunday July 9-10 and will see food and drink lovers from across the region descend on the historic market town.

The Oswestry Food and Drink Festival has earned a reputation as a fabulous town centre festival celebrating the best food and drink producers in the area.

The festival is free and fun and brings street food to the small market town on the borders of Shropshire and Wales.

Streets host the finest local food producers of this borderland country.

The public is invited to enjoy two days of tasting and enjoying the finest local produce as you wander the streets of the market town.

Oswestry is renowned for its café culture so you will never be far from a welcoming coffee shop if you need a cuppa after using all that energy wandering round the stalls.

Last year's event was held in September with large crowds packing the streets of the town centre as food and drink exhibitors from across the region brought their baking, brewing and simmering range of goods and treats for locals and visitors across the weekend.
