The most recent meeting of the Llanfyllin and District Flower Club was held on May 16 and the Llanfyllin Public Institute.
Chairman, Maggie Evans, welcomed members to the meeting, as well as new faces within the group.
The chairman then welcomed the demonstrator for the meeting, Jackie Jones from Pool Quay, Welshpool.
Her evening display showcased varied floral exhibits, accompanied by interesting facts on her topics for each arrangement.

She used an abundance of contrasting foliage, dried materials, beautiful flowers and interesting containers to hold them all.
Some group members won a few of Jackie’s displays in the evening raffle, with the winners being Lyn Batho, Maggie Evans, Llinos Jones, Janet Rogers, Becca Morris and Masrgaret Thomas.
Club members can now look forward to the group’s Diamond Celebration tea at Lake Vyrnwy on Sunday, June 19, which will feature a demonstration by Sionedd Hughes.
