Penybont 1 TNS 2
TNS hit back for the spoils to deny Welsh Cup final opponents Penybont a champion's scalp at the SDM Glass Stadium this afternoon.
The home side wasted little time in breaking the deadlock with Kostya Georgievsky squaring for Ben Ahmun to slot past goalkeeper Paul Harrison from close range.
The Saints regained their composure as the half wore on and grabbed an equaliser with 21 minutes on the clock.
Louis Robles showed his skills to skip past the challenge of several home defenders before crossing for Ryan Brobbel to volley home from 12 yards.
TNS continued to press and on 34 minutes Leo Smith narrowly failed to connect with Ashley Baker's right wing cross while Brobbel was denied his second on the stroke of half-time with home stopper Ashley Morris making the save from close range.

TNS continued to dictate the game after the break with Brobbel lobbing wide before the pressure finally told on the hour with Brobbel curling an unstoppable effort beyond the reach of Morris after being teed up by Smith.
Penybont chances were rare but Ryan Reynolds' drilled effort was deflected wide five minutes later.
The match failed to produce further openings with substitute Jordan Williams seeing a shot deflected wide in the dying embers of the game.
