A POPULAR event for green-fingered enthusiasts will return to Whittington Castle later this month.
The Plant Hunters' Fair will take place on Good Friday, April 15, between 10am and 4pm.
The event has been on a hiatus for the last two years due to Covid-19 restrictions, but this year is promises to be back with a bang and provide something for all plant lovers on what is noted as the most popular gardening weekend of the year.
Organiser Martin Blow, of Plant Hunters' Fairs, said: “Spring is upon us and now is the time to perk up your plots and beautify your borders.
"Fourteen nurseries and artisans will be attending the fair laden with flowering bulbs, perennials and shrubs to provide instant colour and also lots of later flowering plants to get planted now for colour into the summer and beyond. Now’s the time to think ahead and plan that dream border for your garden.
"If you are new to gardening the stall holders are always happy to share their expertise to help you select the best plants for your own unique garden.
