Llanrhaeadr v Llanidloes Town - Central Wales Cup, fourth round - Saturday, 2pm

A JD Cymru North derby at Tanllan represents the match of the day on the Powys border.

The home side return to action following a blank weekend while Llanidloes Town bid to recover from last week's late defeat at Buckley Town.

Player-manager Marc Griffiths returns to contention for the hosts but the villagers are without Khyam Wytton, Sam Thomas and Chris Aitken,

Griffiths said: "After having no game last weekend due to the situation at Bangor City we are all looking forward to getting back to it.

"We see the game as a welcome break from the pressures that come with being at the wrong end of the table and are looking forward to playing at home for the first time in six weeks."

He said: "When the draw was made it wasn’t what we’d hoped for as it’s one of the harder draws we could have had.

"It’s never an easy place to go and we don’t expect anything other than a tough contest come Saturday."

Davies challenged his squad to get back to winning ways and kickstart their 2022 campaign but make the trip with several injury doubts.

"We’re looking to bounce back after our gutting loss in added on time last week," said Davies. "We’re confident we’ve got more than enough to go there and get a result

"We’d had a great run leading up to the break at Christmas and we’re looking for a good win to kickstart the second half of the season off for us.

"We’ve got a lot to play for in the league and two cup competitions we feel we can go all the way in."
