A NATIONAL Trust property has closed its doors today (Wednesday) over weather concerns.
Chirk Castle confirmed via it's Twitter page that it would be closed on December 29 due to forecasted high winds.
The post said: "Chirk Castle will be closed tomorrow, December 29, due to forecast high winds.
"Due to the number of veteran trees on the estate, there is a danger of falling branches, particularly along visitor footpaths and driveways.
"Please don't walk on the estate."

The historic property is currently displaying eye-catching decorations including a giant Christmas cracker. They remain on display until Friday, December 31.
