CARERS are being sought in Oswestry for part-time roles that will help older people in their own homes.
Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin AGE UK has made a number of roles available for Oswestry to help older people remain independent in their own home, whether it be a domestic or gardening service.
There will be no personal care involved for people carrying out the roles, according to an AGE UK spokesman.
They said: "We need flexible part-time home support workers in Oswestry to help older people remain independent in their own homes.
"No personal care is involved and you'll receive a competitive hourly rate.
"A driving licence and your own transport are essential and the post is subject to a disclosure and barring service check.
"We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from minority groups who are currently underrepresented in our workforce."
The deadline for applications is Monday, January 31 and interviews will be one week later.
Compulsory training will take place on March 3 and 4 and for more, call 01743 233 788.
