Well, that was a bit of a windy weekend, wasn’t it?

Storm Arwen came bounding in on Friday and some of our Camera Club members were able to capture some of its impact such as Wendy Clough-Jones’ photograph of the snow and Tracey Austin’s sheep!

Meanwhile, others reminded us that autumn is still here – just – with images from across the region of animals preparing for winter – like Jill Thomas’ robin, or Paul Meakin’s blackbird, while others were just braving the cold like the photos by Jody Wilson, Annie Ingram, Dave Hutton and John Quine.

And then we have the stunning scenic views that were captured across the region over the last week – both before and after the storm.

We have a double-whammy of canal images thanks to Neil Evans and Mary Morgan.

Other views come courtesy of Phil Pointon and Jill Adger.

Meanwhile, St Oswald’s is looking ready for Christmas in the image sent in by David Preston.

And speaking of Christmas, we have a stunning image to share with you by Pete Williamson of the NGC 2264 Cone Nebula and “Christmas Tree Cluster” – just in time for Advent to begin.

And with that, we hand it back over to our Camera Club members to see what you can photograph over the next week or so.
