A STAPLE of Christmas is back for the county as Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury welcomes the first performances of its 2021 pantomime.

Audiences will be taking their seats for the pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan which will begin its run at Theatre Severn on Wednesday, December 1 and will rund until Wednesday, January 3, with only Christmas Day closed.

The show is from producers Evolution, stars Shropshire’s long-time pantomime dame Brad Fitt and is written and is written by pantomime producer Paul Hendy.

Shropshire Council’s theatre services manager David Jack welcomed the news the show would be going on and hopes people enjoy seeing the fruits of their labours.

He said: “We are delighted to be bringing the panto back, and this year is special in that the Theatre Severn celebrates 10 years of its hugely successful partnership with Evolution Pantomimes.

“Our visitors are guaranteed to enjoy hilarious comedy, lavish sets, beautiful costumes and fantastic music throughout the show."

With more than 30,000 tickets for the season’s show already reserved by eager audiences, the show is promising to be a box office success.
