STAFF at Lake Vyrnwy. near Llanfyllin, have confirmed the beautiful tourist spot is still closed because of the damage caused to the area by Storm Arwen.
The lake, which is surrounded by thousands of tall trees, has been closed for much of Saturday and a further announcement is expected on Sunday.
Lake staff are urging anyone to not make unnecessary journeys to the dam or the forest.
They said: "Because of the damage from strong winds and storms (on Friday) night Lake Vyrnwy is temporarily closed.
"Several trees are down and there isn’t any power. Please do not make any unessential journeys.
"We are hoping to open the site as soon as it is safe to do so. Keep on eye on our page for further updates.
"Thank you."
